Actor, Producer, Mental-Health Advocate
Carrie Genzel, a native of Vancouver, has worked extensively in Canada and the United States throughout her career spanning over 30 years. In addition to her role as 'Skye Chandler' on ABC's "All My Children," she played two memorable roles on CW's "Supernatural," as well as recurred on two seasons of Tyler Perry's "Sistas," and the final season of AMC's "The Walking Dead."

Her diverse filmography includes "Watchmen," "The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus," "Dead Rising: Watchtower," "They're Watching," "The Layover, directed by William H, Macy, "Jennifer's Body," directed by Karyn Kusama. and more.
 
She won the Best Actress award at the Los Angeles International Underground Film Festival in 2012 for the lead role of 'Emma' in "The Ballerina and the Rocking Horse."
 
As a creator and producer, Carrie is developing a variety of unscripted projects for television.

She is a mental health advocate who launched the blog State Of Slay ™ and is an advisory board member of Attitudes In Reverse®, an organization that provides anti-bullying and suicide prevention programming to students.

Visit Macon Named Finalists for 2025 eTSY Awards for Macon Beyond!

Exciting news! The Visit Macon marketing team has been named finalists for the prestigious 2025 eTSY Awards – Tourism’s Digital Trailblazers in the Best Seasonal Destination Marketing Campaign category! This recognition honors the "Macon Beyond / October" video series and event marketing campaign, celebrating the haunted history and spooky charm of Macon, GA.
It has been an absolute thrill to partner with Visit Macon on this incredible series and immersive ghostly events. Special congratulations to the powerhouse team behind the magic: Marisa Rodgers, Mackenzie Manley, and Lucy Hughes from Visit Macon, along with Tabitha Walker, Stephanie Shadden, Bo Greene, Morrighan Lynne, and Jonathan Morgan! Winners will be announced this April at the eTourism Summit in Las Vegas – fingers crossed! Looking forward to even more eerie adventures and spine-chilling storytelling in Macon, Georgia. Carrie is thrilled to continue her partnership with Visit Macon on the video series Macon Beyond, which dives into the mysteries, legends, and lore of Macon, GA. Available on the Visit Macon YouTube channel, website, and social media platforms, the series reflects Carrie’s well-known passion for paranormal encounters and compelling storytelling.
