I'm excited to officially share the trailer for Echoes of the South™, an original documentary storytelling series exploring the intersection of Southern history, folklore, local legends, and reported paranormal experiences.
Through historical research, firsthand interviews, and on-location investigations, Echoes of the South™ uncovers the stories that continue to echo across the American South, inviting viewers to explore these places with curiosity and an open mind.

Macon Chose Me
Since relocating to Macon, Carrie has found creative inspiration in the city’s unique blend of music history, layered storytelling, and Southern Gothic atmosphere. What began as an appreciation for Macon’s architecture and culture soon became a deeper connection to the people, legends, and rich sense of place that continue to shape the city today.
Through her work hosting Macon Beyond in partnership with Visit Macon, Carrie has explored many of the city’s historic landmarks, hidden histories, and unexplained lore, experiences that helped inspire the creation of Echoes of the South™. Drawn to the spaces where history, mystery, and human experience intersect, Carrie continues to develop storytelling projects that preserve the voices, atmosphere, and spirit of the American South.
