Now, we’re taking you inside one of downtown Macon’s most colorful spots after the doors close.
We recently spent an afternoon investigating Switch Macon, and on October 15, you can watch what happened with us inside the very space where it happened.
Join Carrie Genzel, Spiritual Medium Morrighan Lynne and Lead Investigator Jonathan Morgan for the live premiere of our Echoes of the South investigation of Switch.
We’ll watch the episode together, then stick around for a Q&A about the investigation, what we experienced and what we discovered while reviewing the evidence.
And after the episode, we’ll listen for something else.

The Piedmont Grand Opera House
On October 17, Carrie Genzel returns to The Piedmont Grand Opera House in Macon, Georgia, with Spiritual Medium Morrighan Lynne and Lead Investigator Jonathan Morgan for Macon Beyond: Spirits & Song, a special live event featuring music, storytelling and a paranormal investigation inside the historic theater.
Carrie, Morrighan and Jonathan previously investigated The Grand for Macon Beyond, a video series produced in partnership with Visit Macon. Now, guests will have the opportunity to join the team inside the theater and take part in the investigation themselves.
The evening begins with Dinner & Music on Stage at 6:30 PM, featuring The Nest of Singing Birds, presented by The Creek FM, sharing haunting songs, oral traditions and old stories passed from one generation to the next.
At 8:30 PM, Carrie, Morrighan and Jonathan will lead guests into The Grand for the paranormal investigation.
Previous Macon Beyond live investigations have sold out before the event, so advance tickets are recommended.

Since relocating to Macon, Carrie has found creative inspiration in the city’s unique blend of music history, layered storytelling, and Southern Gothic atmosphere. What began as an appreciation for Macon’s architecture and culture soon became a deeper connection to the people, legends, and rich sense of place that continue to shape the city today.
Through her work hosting Macon Beyond in partnership with Visit Macon, Carrie has explored many of the city’s historic landmarks, hidden histories, and unexplained lore, experiences that helped inspire the creation of Echoes of the South™. Drawn to the spaces where history, mystery, and human experience intersect, Carrie continues to develop storytelling projects that preserve the voices, atmosphere, and spirit of the American South.
